Duke's Seafood & Rib Shack in Grand Cayman pays tribute to Cayman's endless summer with its authentic 'beach shack' restaurant and welcoming staff. Conveniently located across from Public Beach in Seven Mile, the restaurant's rustic decor is inspired by classic beach movies of the 50s and 60s. Inside, walls are accented with recycled wooden planks and the bar wrapped in sheets of corrugated iron and whitewashed wood. Surfing memorabilia, farm tables and shipping lanterns add vintage character to the dining area. The air-conditioned restaurant opens out into a large outdoor deck and bar which is the perfect place to enjoy a breeze straight off the ocean.
Duke's celebrates Cayman's fresh seafood and incorporates Caribbean influences into its Southern-style cuisine. Caught locally, its seafood is fresh everyday and used to create dishes such as their classic 'steampots', generous surf n' turf and popular crab cakes. Handcut in-house, Duke's steaks are served in a traditional BBQ style and their mouth-watering 'Maui Ribs' are marinated for four days in brown sugar and ginger for maximum flavour and tenderness.
